Add further modifiers, (I was adding resistance) watch the 'Modifiers' number in the tooltip (hold shift over the armour piece). It doesn't go down. You can add as many modifiers as you want. WebA Diamond and later on a Netherite Ingot gives enough durability and the mining level Rose Gold is lacking. A Pickaxe at this point already has mining speed above 20, which is fast enough imo. Add the Extra Modifier Stuff and you have enough for Reinforcement V and you can also add Unbreakable(which apparently doesn't work in the current version).
