Specifically, poor water quality leads to poor health for mostly underserved and minority populations in high-risk areas. This work was motivated by the desire to better understand how to estimate the water quality index (WQI), a single index for expressing water's overall quality, and the water quality class (WQC), a distinct class generated from the WQI.
