IPNB is an exciting interdisciplinary perspective, drawing from the fields of neuroscience, psychology, and relationship studies. Other related fields of study include, affective neuroscience, social neuroscience and social cognitive neuroscience. WebAs an IPNB-informed therapist, I hold that the mind is an emergent and relational process. This means that human beings require an "other" to come into being and in each moment of connection we co-create our realities. I use this knowledge as a reminder that therapy rooted in safe, healthy relationship is inherently a collaborative process.
