I have seen this asked on a number of forums, and the responses … WebThe only reason perhaps to switch to Blue Iris would be for the integration capabilities, e.g. using multiple camera brands or integrating into 3rd party software like Home Assistant. If that is not what you're intending to do, you may want to consider buying an AI DVR instead (e.g. HikVision Turbo HD 4.0 with AccuSense).

When a new Hikvision camera is released you will likely within a several months see an equivalent in an Interlogix branded camera provided it fits the direction Interlogix is taking its portfolio.
