WebMar 18, 2024 · Plugged ethernet cable into extender/laptop and chrome opened. Followed all of the steps, selected my main 2.4GHz network and entered the password. I now see the Router light on the extender turn green. At confirmation, I connected my phone and PC laptop. Here, both the laptop and phone say connected, but no internet access. WebIt gets a decent Wi-Fi signal from the house router, but the signal rises and falls depending on doors being open/closed. By plugging the PC in to the ethernet connector of the extender, I still only get Wi-Fi speeds obviously, but the connection to the router downstairs has gone rock solid, regardless of the office door being open or closed.
