WebSep 10, 2024 · As for crystal isles it feels empty, aartifacts just laying on the ground for the pick up, that sort of stuff. It isn't as crazy rich with metal as say Whitespire Peak on the Island, but it's got enough deposits that it would be all a person needs for early to mid game. At least 12 or so, some of them rich metal.

I for one would love to see more defensive build locations. I think Ark in its current state really is more of a mega/large tribe game. I also don't think thats a bad thing. Ark in its current state reminds me of Eve online or Shadowbane ( long gone mmo).
